Wow that flattening jig is way too over complicated also yes the table should be flat.....if you start completely flat there will be no need for shims and less chance of being not being flat by the time you get that ....thing made.

i suppose the wood finish like stain, oil, or paint can affect those percentages. If the wood has a hydrophobic surface, it should minimize wood movement i think.

Sehr schöne Arbeit und auch das Endergebnis. WOW 👍🏻👍🏻.

i found using 30 x 90m for the base saved a little weight and marginally reduced the size. And to make the cut easier I cut the front at about 35 degrees

I'm not doubting the quality of your work, i just have a couple of questions. As far as it being on a slope, does the grain pattern direction cancel out the benefit at all, and isn't it better to have the fence locked in at 90° instead of having to make sure it's at 90 every time you use it and also risk that it moves while you're using it? Just wondering. Thanks

Love your video with great tips. Mind your fingers with some of the cuts, it is easy to make a mistake with the depth. Very important too switch your width selector only when the router is running. It will get damaged in the long run.

Domino station looks pretty great, but could maybe do with some safety feature to prevent fingers getting near the cutter. If you accidentally set plunge depth too deep it's bye bye finger.

Why do people continue to keep so much of the bandsaw blade exposed when cutting material. I was always taught to keep about 1/4 inch or so above the material. Less chance of cutting off a finger. This is just common sense.
